Privacy

This public beta is designed to collect as little information as practical while providing live translated calls.

Call audio and captions

Your original voice travels directly between the two browsers when the network allows it. Our self-hosted TURN relay may carry encrypted call traffic when a direct connection is blocked. The remote speaker audio is also sent to OpenAI for live translation. JennieLove Translate does not intentionally record calls. Live captions stay in the browser and are cleared when the page closes. Do not share highly sensitive information during a beta call.

Payments

Stripe processes card payments. We do not receive or store full card details. We store the payment reference, package, remaining minutes, and customer email returned by Stripe so we can provide purchased minutes and resolve payment problems.

Operational data

We store room identifiers, language choices, time used, expiry time, and pseudonymous abuse-control hashes. A one-way hash of the network address is used to limit free trials; the raw address is not placed in the product database.

Retention

Beta room records may be kept for security, billing reconciliation, and service improvement. Payment records may be kept as required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.

Your choices

You can leave a call at any time. The host can end the room. For privacy questions or deletion requests, email support@jennielove.com.
